Ted Hardy and Clara Franks Hardy

Cornelius Edward "Ted" Hardy and Clara V. Franks were married in Amity, Arkansas on December 22, 1934.

Ted Hardy was the son of Cornelius Hardy and Mary Ellen "Mollie" Fitzgerald. 

-Cornelius Hardy was the son of Gallant Hardy and Elizabeth Ann Coker Hardy.
-Mollie Fitzgerald was the daughter of W.A. Fitzgerald and Louisa Jane Dillard Fitzgerald, who were previously featured on this site.

 

Clara V. Franks was the daughter of James Ervin Franks and Mary Carolina Wisener Franks.

-James Ervin Franks was the son of Jacob and Margaret Franks.

-Mary Carolina Wisener was the daughter of Jeptha Jackson Wisener and Nancy Margaret Greeson Wisener.

 

Ted and Clara had no children.

 

Ted and Clara Hardy were cousins of Lynn and Sindy Williams, previously featured on this site; Ted was a cousin to Sindy Williams, they were both Coker's, and Clara was a cousin to Lynn Williams, they were both Wisener's.

Lula Childs Stinnett

Lula Childs was the daughter of Richard T. and Jennie Childs.  Richard Childs, a farmer and Georgia native, moved to Texas, then Louisiana, and eventually settled in Pike City, Pike County, Arkansas.

Lula was born in Texas but was living in Pike City, Arkansas when she married Rufus Calvin Stinnett from Kirby, Arkansas.  When they married on August 12, 1908, Lula was 26, and Rufus was 49.  Rufus was the son of Mason and Cyrena Jones Stinnett.  Mason Stinnett had been a commanding officer in the 4th Arkansas Cavalry for the Union Army during the Civil War.

Before he married Lula Childs, Rufus Stinnett had been married to Martha E. Williams, who died in 1906.  Rufus had four children with Martha, and he and Lula had two children, John Mack Stinnett and an unnamed infant.

Linwood and Sindy Coker Williams

Linwood "Lynn" Williams was the son of William Allen Williams and Nancy Jane Wisener Williams.

Vesta Lucinda "Sindy" Coker Williams was the daughter of Michael Monroe Coker and Arelsa Ann Beda Osborn Coker.

Lynn and Sindy had nine children: Cleodia, Arlie, Almer, George, Nellie, Lynn Jr., Cary, John and an unnamed infant.  Lynn and Sindy lived in the Center Ridge community, three miles south of Amity, where Lynn was a farmer and an Elder in the Bethsaida Church of Christ for many years.
